Talent Advisors at Unilever are creating a futuristic Resourcing Team that is ripping up the proactive sourcing rule book and is being more resourceful, think Flexibly Vs Fixed talent solutions and how Open Talent Economies can be baked into our Resourcing DNA. Our Talent Advisors are leading this step change in Resourcing solutions to be best in class!  

Whilst our Talent Advisors own all talent moves within their discipline, this is not a transactional role. Yes, you're accountable for hands-on delivery of our live vacancies. But you'll also use market intelligence and your on-the-ground awareness to co-craft our talent sourcing approach; aligning talent strategy with hiring decisions.

The Role Objectives:

  • You are responsible for both achieving your own targets and supporting others so that we excel as a team. (inc. candidate and hiring manager satisfaction, timeliness of updates, quality of candidate, etc.)
  • You will drive the hiring process for active requirements: from always attending briefing meetings with a pre-emptive list of candidates and the relevant market insights; to setting-up easy and effective selection processes; to effectively screening applications, including reviewing CVs and digital interviews making informed judgements on shortlists; to advising our business on the key skills and characteristics that matter most to our organisation.
  • Based on business briefings; actively conduct candidate searches - considering the Open Talent Economy & searching the wide range of different talent profiles (External, Internal, Flex, Freelancers)
  • Co-develops a sourcing approach by collaborating with a Talent Advisor Manager, helping to shape the approach by using own on-the-ground awareness and market intelligence
  • Work with EB communities to develop relevant content for Talent Communities to drive engagement through hyper targeting campaigns.
  • Constantly anticipating business needs; you'll actively approach and engage high-quality passive and active talent (approaching and engaging through multiple mediums), building talent ecosystems that meet our current and future skill and capability requirements.
  • Building awareness of the internal and external talent landscape across a range of functions, you'll develop a holistic view of talent in your discipline. Actively engaging and building relationships with internal talent, you'll maintain awareness of where/when our people are ready for their next move.
  • Ensuring data integrity of the organisation’s ATS, ensuring data is captured in a consistent and auditable way, including ensuring GDPR policy is followed
  • Effectively screens applications, including reviewing CVs and digital interviews to make informed judgements on which candidates to shortlist
  • Continually seeks to improve performance e.g. suggesting ways to increase candidate quality and experience, attracting a diverse workforce, etc.
  • Experience is everything, which is why you'll always provide timely quality feedback to our applicants; turning every candidate into a brand advocate.
  • Learns and builds awareness of the internal and external talent landscape across a range of functions, developing a holistic view of talent sourcing
  • Maintains effective partnerships with external agencies to meet sourcing needs when required
  • Support digital resourcing initiatives to attract-select-hire digital native talent at speed.
  • Provides Unilever and Functional & Market expertise to Candidates
  • Continually seeking to enhance performance you'll suggest ways to improve talent quality and experience. Ensuring we always attract a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Your Capabilities

Your key skills

Required:

  • You are experienced in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition at Mid Career Recruitment
  • You are experienced in partnering with senior business stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of business needs and priorities and translating a talent strategy into execution
  • You have developed and delivered end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements globally
  • You enjoy delivering against KPIs, targets and SLAs
  • You like to use data to produce value-adding business-oriented management information and reporting
  • You have a thorough understanding of legislation affecting resourcing in multiple global regions alongside complying with GDPR policies where relevant
  • Expertise in a range of active candidate sourcing strategies and approaches sourcing through active and passive channels
  • Experience using specialist sourcing techniques as well as social networking 

Desirable:

  • Experience of sourcing in more than one specialism preferred
  • Inhouse or RPO recruitment experience
  • You have experience leading Global Talent Resourcing in multiple countries, covering Projects
  • Sourcing candidates using an Open Talent Economy approach
