Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist.
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for driving all aspects of candidate sourcing and generation process for specific technical engineering/manufacturing positions. The position holder will take an active role in defining and launching innovative strategies to build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles, to source candidates with desired profiles and gets involved in passive recruitment. The incumbent will work closely with and support across several recruiters.
This position is accountable for the following end results:

- Identify and research new innovative and creative sourcing methods and work with recruiters to identify gaps in sourcing plan and develop go forward strategy to identify pipeline of candidates for hard to fill positions and high-volume recruiting.
- Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline of prospective candidates by using multiple sourcing tools like research, networking, database mining, complex internet searches, referrals, market mapping, etc.
- Develop Talent Mapping reports for specific companies including competitors and/or identified critical positions
- Document research methods and share with the team
- Train team members on new internet sites, blogs, networking groups and/or methods
- Generate recruitment metric reports both manually and using applicant tracking system
- Identify, screen and submit qualified candidates to Recruiting Team based on the provided job description
- Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to “profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivationâ€, rather than sell a role
- Develop slate of candidates qualified for particular role; document and logging into the company applicant tracking system, create relationships and hand over to recruiter; expand networks to raise passive candidates (themselves or their networks), and hand relationships over to recruiter; log the conversations so that Talent Acquisition Specialists and Recruiters know who reached out and when (as an example, like a recruiting CRM)
- Leverage candidate database to look at and share within the sourcing/Talent Acquisition team for other requisitions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
       Â
- 3-5 years in Sourcing; previous experience within Sourcing/Recruitment, from either agency, RPO or internal/direct hiring background is essentialÂ
- Broad knowledge and demonstrated success, utilizing Internet and Social Media strategies for identifying passive and active candidate pools, internal and external databases, meet ups/blogs, cold calling, and research.
- Proven success in developing sourcing strategies for a wide variety of positions and geographies
- Ambition to drive delivery in a positive and professional manner and work with tight deadlines
- Understanding and experience using Recruiting related technologies, e.g., web-based applicant tracking systems, internet search engines, MS Office programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
