JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity:

You will deliver best in class recruitment for Frasers Group. Creating memorable candidate experiences and being a tireless brand advocate, you will seek out the best quality candidates for our roles and support them through our agile recruitment process. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels across the Group; as a recruitment expert you will provide guidance supporting short- and long-term people goals.

As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take a leadership role within the team, supporting the Head of Talent with team management, strategic projects, new store openings and flagship beauty and luxury retail appointments. You will have leadership responsibility of a small team, supporting global talent acquisition goals across retail fascia. 

The Ambition 

Key Result Areas 

Sourcing

  • Using your skill as a recruiter to create captivating, creative attraction strategies for key senior hires in our beauty and luxury business areas.
  • With a focus on quality of hire you will constantly seek the absolute best, established and emerging talent to lead our flagship store fascia
  • Work with store and regional colleagues to develop a local talent attraction and sourcing strategy that matches the unique needs of the geographical location
  • Upskilling regional leadership teams in recruitment best practice and creating an “always recruiting” mindset on a local level to facilitate talent pipelines
  • Using talent communities and location specific pools to allow for a rapid and relevant candidate shortlisting process for projects such as new store openings and BAU recruitment needs
  • Supporting retail recruitment specialists and resourcers with training and development around any sourcing topic as required

Selecting

  • Both directly and through your team, use a range of screening methods to evaluate candidates fit for role and make confident shortlist proposals
  • Manage candidate expectations, ensuring that feedback is presented in a timely manner and silver medallist candidates are banked in the talent community

On-boarding

  • Owning the candidate journey from verbal offer to start, providing regular contact and ensuring each colleague gets a best in class experience, both internal customers and their new hires
  • Supporting stores with coordinating day-1 activities, liaising between HR and L&D where necessary

Reporting

  • Supporting the provision of daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting for team and Group purposes
  • Taking HR and retail data, such as attrition, sickness, labour market and seasonal volume to create project recruitment activities, proposals and initiatives

Projects:

  • Owning new store opening projects across Group, taking control of recruitment timelines and mobilising recruitment activity to ensure deadlines are hit
  • Stepping in to support with head office projects as needed, such as key hires, head hunting projects or benchmarking exercises

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership skills, such as mentoring, coaching and motivating
  • Detailed knowledge of sourcing, such as building world-class attraction campaigns, head hunting, utilising networks and programmatic advertising 
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders at a variety of levels
  • Huge desire to progress, driven by personal and professional development goals
  • Creative thinker, we have the same challenges as any business right now in the war for talent, you will need to bring your A-game on the ideas front! 
  • Resilience and determination. Most days are awesome, some will challenge you, having these skills in your locker will be essential
