Position Summary

​​The Talent Acquisition Intern will be responsible for a broad range of tasks supporting the recruitment team. This may include coordination of efforts for the entire life cycle of recruitment which may include posting jobs, scheduling candidates, and pre-screening. Join in recruitment strategy & recruiting calls to learn how to effectively conduct interviews. Participate in TA projects including Employment Branding, for example, Analytics.  Perform other administrative tasks as needed. The opportunity to gain experience working in a global context across time zones is a plus. Experience in HR or recruitment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Learn how to source and pipeline talent
• Learn Talent Acquisition systems, Workday, LinkedIn, Talent Neuron
• Shadow a full-lifecycle recruiter on 'how to recruit and hire'
• Understand employer branding and the employee value proposition to attract and retain talent
• Participate in projects across all of TA
• Gain an understanding of how Talent Acquisition works with other COE's and HR Partners to support the business

What You Will Learn

• ​​Gain a broader understanding of how to attract talent to BMS
• Demonstrate a full understanding of a recruiter’s job responsibilities are by end of the internship
• Develop an understanding of talent market intelligence and how it applies to the broader organization
• Understand the process steps to hire a candidate
• Learn about how Talent Acquisition interacts with other HR COE's and HR Partners
• How to be sourcing and recruiting partner with experience in supporting all business units

Qualifications and Experience

• ​​Prefer talent that is on track for a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource related studies
• Rising Junior or Senior (graduation year 2023 or 2024)
• Preferred experience to include- sorority/fraternity (social or business), extracurricular activities/clubs with interest in HR (SHRM)
• Previous work experience with a focus on customer service

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from June 2022- May 2023

• Candidates must be available to be able to commute to the BMS- Tampa, FL location for the year internship (Up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours per week in fall & spring)

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in school during the internship with a graduation date of May 2023 or later
