BI engineer
The Role
The BI Engineer captures business requirements to develop systems requirements and/or process solutions to address business needs and mitigate cyber risk for the Enterprise. This person will build dashboards/reports from source data, including requirements capturing, data identification and structure, extracting the data and crafting dashboards, scorecard and reports. This role encapsulates all tasks needed to translate business requirements into a technical solution. You should be highly inquisitive and analytical with a strong discernment coupled with the ability to extract meaningful information from the data.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
3 + years of proven ability in Tableau/Power BI development and dashboard visualization
Excellent understanding of Data Modeling methods and best practices
Sophisticated knowledge & experience with SQL and good understanding of Data warehousing and Relational database concepts & technologies. Sophisticated knowledge & “hands-on†experience in Administration and Development using Tableau
Experience as Business-System-Data Analyst is a plus
Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse
Bachelor’s degree required, Computer Science or related degree. Strong statistical or quantitative background a plus.
Background in Financial Services industry or Cybersecurity a plus
The ability to identify the most efficient means of data acquisition and information delivery. Gather and analyze business data from various sources.
Experience with interacting with business users and stakeholders to identify dashboard strategies and report layouts
Experience working in an Agile development model
Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work both independently and effectively in teams
Capture requirements, analyze data, and develop dashboards to communicate results to executive management team, product owners and other stakeholders.
Experience with building visualizations & complex data sets/semantic layer in Tableau
The ability to seamlessly understand reporting & analytics requirements
Ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of big data into valuable insights
Data Analysis using SQL on data sources
Ability to work and collaborate in globally dispersed organization
Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise overtime, as well as drive process improvement
Strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills
Adaptable, flexible and thrive in a changing, dynamic environment
Able to communicate to business partners and stakeholders effectively and proactively
ETL skills a plus

The Reporting and Analysis team helps build tools that can be leveraged across Enterprise Cybersecurity. The team ensures the quality and accuracy of our core data and develops analytics and metrics used to evaluate information security. Comprised of members with diverse skills and experience, we are looking for a team member to improve and complement our current capabilities.
