WHAT YOU’LL DO
THE ENGINEER, SYSTEMS SUPPORT provides direct support to internal and external customers for the business's portfolio of products; act as liaison to management, associated functional groups and business partners; act as subject matter expert (SME) on the business's products and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System. document complaints in accordance with Quality standards. recognize and communicate trends in product issues and their impact on customers.
User support for the ADD tools understand business goals and objectives to identify what change initiatives are needed for the business to be more efficient and productive.
Support our Abbott Product Life-cycle Management (TeamCenter) and Micro Focus Solutions Business Manager (SBM) Design Automation Tools.
Translate business requirements into PLM Solutions based on PLM industry best practices.
Perform development activities on PLM projects using Teamcenter ITK, Java, C++, XML, XSLT.
Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
Responsibilities include granting access to APLM and SBM systems, releasing DHF Documents that are in Document Control,
Supporting daily maintenance of APLM/SBM Service Groups and APLM/SBM Help databases, and expediting help desk tickets,
Removal of terminated users from the system, making record corrections within the system, running maintenance reports, supporting audit requests.
Identifying opportunities to streamline the support tickets and automation
Writing ‘How To’ for team members and users. Conduct demonstration of new application features to Business organizations and develop training material for end user.
Communicate project processes, progress by interacting with the business to support expectations and adoption.
Conduct user Lunch n Learn sessions.
Assist in developing tool specific training and keeping shared repository on SharePoint or Tips and Tricks folder up-to-date.
Requesting and searching for data in Corporate Records/RIMS and supporting the annual Design Automation Tools Rectification.
Give Constructive Feedback: Give appropriate, helpful information specific to the issue, uses examples, ties feedback to specific business issues.
Actively Participates in Team Meetings: Actively participates in review of meeting topics and contributes to meeting team goals by offering pro and con suggestions, works toward consensus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
REQUIRED
Bachelors degree; or an equivalent experience with demonstrated competence
5+ years of experience with or exposure to a medical environment to develop the competence to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position preferred
PREFERRED
Bachelors degree in an engineering, computer science or closely related discipline.
7 years with implementing PLM solutions using Teamcenter preferred.
Other qualifications/certifications: Experienced in JAVA, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SQL, HTML5, XML
