We have an opportunity for a Systems Quality Assurance Consultant to join Pensions Solutions.

You will ensure that the products and services of the PensionsOffice and Pensions Sofware Development teams are fit for purpose, consistent and meet both external and internal requirements.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

• To test systems and processes in accordance with the requirements of any project
• Report progress to line management as required detailing the progress of testing against the agreed test plan and highlighting any issues affecting the execution of the testing requirement for the project
• Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards
• Adhere to approved test management work instructions and template control documentation
• Control and manage the Quality assurance process for validating the software applications designed and developed by the Product Development team
• Ensure that the production processes meet industry recognised standards (ISO9001, TickIt+ etc…)
• Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards.
• Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
• Set up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports

What we’re looking for:

• Good knowledge of networking technologies
• Ability to find, access, and store relevant information on the CEB Network
• Experience of Software Testing of Enterprise applications, knowledge of multiple environments and understanding the impact of these environments on the applications.
• Should understand the application architecture (SAP and .Net tools) and demonstrate ability to successfully complete new installs or perform upgrades on existing installations.
• Demonstrates an ability to manage a Relational database (MS SQL Server, Sybase ASE and Oracle).
• Is able to use Rational Robot to create and maintain scripts. Ability to run test packs and create reports based on the result
