About The Job 
As Systems Optimisation Project Manager you will lead key projects to drive digitalization in the different areas and across the different regions in Engineering & Maintenance. By this improvements you will ensure that the E&M organisation is delivering high quality and cost effective services for all TUI Airlines in a lean and very efficient way. You will play a key role in the implementation of the E&M mission, bringing into life our ambition to become STRONGER, SMARTER, FASTER in the most COST EFFICIENT and SUSTAINABLE way and acting as ONE Team.
You will report into the Process & System Optimisation Manager. ï‚· Lead key projects to drive digitalization in E&M and deliver the projects in time, to agreed quality and on budget including a proper project reporting

• Analyse and optimize IT systems from a business perspective to ensure an alignment across all regions and to gain efficiencies, standardization and simplification as well as reducing the number of systems in close collaboration with the Aviation IT department
• Lead projects to implement new technologies and innovation within E&M
• Ensure a continuous process improvement
• Find opportunities for further process Optimisation and support its Optimisation
• Identify, coordinate and implement initiatives in the field of Business Intelligence and sustainability
• Drive cultural change in E&M – working as one team
• Coordinate project finances including business cases, CAPEX and OPEX budgets in close cooperation with E&M Finance

About you

• 5+ years’ experience in the (project) management of digital projects (preferable international) and preferable holding a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant discipline
• Extensive project management experience – preferable in complex, multi-national projects
• Strong IT and analytical skills
• Demonstrating creativity and initiative, and acting in a result orientated way
• Preferable aviation engineering and maintenance background
• Ability to operate within a virtual airline in a pan-European arena, with multiple customers and stakeholders across a range of source markets
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English
• Ability to travel within Europe occasionally
