The Experience

 

Software integration specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing new software, hardware, networks or applications. This involves working with other information technology teams to plan strategies of execution without interfering with the organization's day-to-day activities. They develop plans and provide technical expertise to ensure the technical architecture is operational and secure throughout the integration process

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SQL Server management database maintenance and security
  • Communicate and document all Report Server management
  • Backup IT administrator in LAN administration task and on-call coverage.
  • Coordinate and develop critical metrics screens for the plant
  • Assist and lead technological innovation development
  • Meet yearly plant and department objectives
  • Assist with Symach programming and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate XMII transaction monitoring, troubleshooting and creating
  • Assist with plant projects
  • Understand and align with Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety. Identify and report Food Safety issues to management

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current students within 1-2 years of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completion in the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and/or Systems Engineering
  • Authorization to work in the United States with no need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • 3.0 or higher GPA    

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Business System Links
  • Knowledge in Plant Floor Systems SQL/Industrial SQL Server and SAP/SAP ClientKnowledge in Plant Floor Systems SQL/Industrial SQL Server and SAP/SAP Client
  • Microsoft Desktop Computer Systems
  • Switched Ethernet – Multi mode fiber, CAT5/CAT6, Cisco Switches, wireless
  • Support Allen-Bradley & PLC Networks (Ethernet,)
  • Support for Wonderware industrial automation software
  • Front end tool development (Wonderware, VB, Java, HTML, Reporting Services)
  • Microsoft Active Directory Business File Server, Google Tools/E-Mail,
  • Ethernet units and other related hardware
