What you’ll achieve
As a System Test Sr. Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for system testing of Enterprise hardware, software and solution products.
You will:
Serve as a technical authority within the Validation organization, across Dell and partner Development teams, and with customers.
Develop and drive worldwide validation strategies across multiple geographic locations and across multiple internal and external teams
Gain a thorough understanding of Dell customers and their product usage models. Develop and drive Validation strategies based on customer data.
Authors and presents to leadership innovative test process and methodology improvements from an end-to-end test perspective for the functional area of ownership. Works with developers and technologists to develop automation and test tools for functional areas.

Essential Requirements
Ability to make decisions that are strategic in nature, have long-term consequence, and tend to relate to business strategy, financial performance and effective resource utilization.
Extensive knowledge of enterprise hardware, software, and systems. Understanding of server and storage hardware as well as software system architecture.
Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategic initiatives across global business units
Direct experience executing and developing test and workflow automation.
Experience with Test Management tools (e.g., Requirements, Test Cases, Defects, Automated Frameworks).
Demonstrated experience working with global teams.
Desirable Requirements
Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience.
