What you’ll achieve
As a System Test Sr. Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for system testing of Enterprise hardware, software and solution products.
You will:

• Serve as a technical authority within the Validation organization, across Dell and partner Development teams, and with customers.

• Develop and drive worldwide validation strategies across multiple geographic locations and across multiple internal and external teams

• Gain a thorough understanding of Dell customers and their product usage models. Develop and drive Validation strategies based on customer data.

• Authors and presents to leadership innovative test process and methodology improvements from an end-to-end test perspective for the functional area of ownership. Works with developers and technologists to develop automation and test tools for functional areas.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to make decisions that are strategic in nature, have long-term consequence, and tend to relate to business strategy, financial performance and effective resource utilization.

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise hardware, software, and systems. Understanding of server and storage hardware as well as software system architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategic initiatives across global business units

• Direct experience executing and developing test and workflow automation.

• Experience with Test Management tools (e.g., Requirements, Test Cases, Defects, Automated Frameworks).

• Demonstrated experience working with global teams.

Desirable Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience.
