Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

Completed an AWS associate level certification like Architect, SysOps or Developer.

Good understanding of AWS services like ECS, Fargate, ECR, Lambda, EKS, etc.

Good understanding of networking and security.

Experience in middleware tools like IIS, Nginx,etc.

Experience in monitoring tools like Kibana, Splunk, etc.

Good understanding of DevOps concepts like Agile, CI/CD, Automations, etc

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Circle CI, etc.

Competent in scripting with Bash/Shell, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, etc.

Previous exposure to microservices architecture with Docker and Kubenetes

Sound knowledge in version control solutions like GitHub, CodeCommit, etc.

Hands-on experience with IaC solutions like Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.

Experience in database management like MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

Knowledge in caching systems like Redis, etc.

In-depth knowledge of ITSM practices and ticketing tools like Jira, etc.

Willing to work on roster basis 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Acknowledging incidents if there is an alert, ticket or an issue reported by the users for an application.

Validating application status, checking application logs and performing troubleshooting.

Coordinate with the application development team for further analysis where required.

Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute infrastructure change requests.

Sending periodic updates to the relevant teams and management on pre-release and during the production releases.
