Sustainable Product Lead (Manager) 

As our official Product Changemaker (aka Sustainable Product Lead), you’ll lead our journey of changing how clothes are made. We want to make clothes with less impact, changing how we consume things, to create a more sustainable industry, and a more sustainable world. You will help embed sustainability in every step of our product journey, from design to sourcing to production and closing the loop through recycling. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive the MAS Plan for Change product sustainability strategy and revenue targets along with the divisional business teams.

· Understand and develop sustainable product strategies for key customers, based on brand priorities, consumer needs and industry trends

· Create networks with suppliers, partners and other key stakeholders who will drive forward the ‘Products Changed for Good’ pillar and commitments at MAS.

· Develop a repository for all sustainable products, raw materials, technologies, and process solutions at MAS.

· Collaborate with Communication and SBU teams to utilize insights gained from customer interactions to create authentic storytelling opportunities to appeal to customers’ target audiences.

· Guide design teams in designing and developing products that can be recycled and be part of a ‘closed loop system’ to reduce environmental impact. 

Qualifications and Experience:

· A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), or in Business / Economics / Social sciences, with experience in relevant technical job roles.

· 8 - 10 years of work experience in developing and commercializing new products and technologies.

· Knowledge of manufacturing and development processes as well as general upstream processes.

· Knowledge of key product development skills such as the innovation process, life cycle modelling, and associated principles.

· A strong communicator, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the MAS ecosystem.

· A strong advocate for a more sustainable world.
