Job Description

Sustainable Packaging Senior Manager - Americas

At Mars, we believe the world we want tomorrow, starts with how we do business today. That’s why today, we’re rethinking our approach to packaging, because we believe there is no such thing as a sustainable product in unsustainable packaging. We’re proud of our products, but deeply concerned about the impact of packaging waste on land and in the ocean. Many of our products are wrapped in plastic packaging and most of this packaging is not recycled. This is unacceptable and we are committed to addressing this, even if it means redesigning much of our packaging or our business models.

Any company embarking on a journey where no packaging becomes waste must reevaluate their whole packaging system. But for a company with such a diverse portfolio of products as Mars, the challenge to deliver a whole new suite of packaging solutions is even more complex. We are currently ramping up our delivery on this topic. A dedicated corporate Senior Manager is required to

lead and manage specific elements of our program, and provide technical support and represent Mars externally in the Americas region.
