Amazon Shipping is looking for a driven, results oriented and entrepreneurial leader to help launch an exciting new program. As a senior program manager, you will be responsible for developing and building our Sustainable packaging business; from translating the needs of our customers to shape our product design to driving a multi-geo commercial strategy. This multi-faceted role will be responsible for influencing multiple internal teams and external partners, including WW Product as well as Operations, Commercial and third party supplier relationships, helping to grow and streamline the ordering process and supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the packaging P&L, influence pricing and incentives plans to drive stand-alone profitability and growth
- Assess Global market opportunity including market sizing, competitor analysis and customer profiling
- Build and implement a commercial strategy to drive the program including coordinating and launching new suppliers, product ranges and growing the portfolio to meet customer demand
- Shape and influence product design and user experience by being closely involved in UAT, testing and trials
- Partner with Amazon Shipping and Amazon global marketing teams to build promotion campaigns linked closely to our brand strategy and the Amazon sustainability pledge
- Present results in regular Business Review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives, as well as providing insights on current trends and projected headwinds/tailwinds.
- Establish key success metrics and global reporting mechanisms
- Build training and SOPs to enable global commercial and support teams
· Bachelor’s Degree or equal experience
· Extensive experience in program, product, project or vendor management with excellent project management skills, including work prioritization, planning, and stakeholder management
· Experience leading new product or start-up related projects where processes will need to be defined, implemented and iterated
· Experience working with distributed teams
· Background in operations, sales, business development, logistics a plus
· Experience in data management including strong excel skills and SQL knowledge
