Our client, an established construction and engineering business has an immediate opportunity for a Permanent Sustainability Manager to join their team.

The Sustainability Manager will drive the Company's commitment to improve its environmental management initiatives and delivering sustainable construction projects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Implement and manage the Company's sustainability strategy
* Develop policies, procedures and systems in relation to environmental and sustainability issues
* Raise awareness of sustainability issues affecting the Company and it's projects through a variety of media outlets
* Develop and provide training and advice to staff at all levels across the business
* Managing the initiatives from conception to implementation on a range of sustainability particularly carbon calculations and response sourcing
* Carry out environmental audits and inspections and construction sites
* Liaise with external stakeholders on social and community engagement
* Report and measure the environmental impact of projects
* Prepare sustainability reports and case studies for Board Directors

To be considered for this role you will need to have a degree qualified in a sustainability or environmental discipline and have membership of a relevant professional body (IEMA, CIWM).

Hours are Monday to Friday, 08.00-18.00
