JOB SUMMARY
The role of the sustainability coordinator is to contribute to the development of the Group sustainability program by performing analysis of material topics, related to environment, social and governance themes, contributing to the Group sustainability communication plan, and participating in annual reporting on and audit of the Group extra-financial performance.JOB SCOPEScope: Support the deployment and reporting of the Group Corporate Social Responsibility program globallyNature of customers : Internal functions (environment, health and safety, HR, investor relations, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (rating agencies, external auditors, customers, trade associations)KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the update and publication of Group Environmental Social and Governance policies and procedures in line with international standards and Group sustainability ambitions- Monitoring evolving trends related to sustainability such as to sustainable finance, EU Green Deal and EU taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives, emerging international standards related to sustainability topics- Provide technical support on sustainability-related subject as required for the development and roll-out of Group sustainability program - Contribute to Group sustainability reporting on Group sustainability performance within annual registration documents and other communication platforms, in close coordination with all involved functions ( HS, HR, IT, etc.)- Coordinate the Group sustainability external audits in collaboration with the central functions and the BAs- Provide technical support on sustainability-related subject as required for the development and roll-out of Group sustainability program within business areas in collaboration with BA sustainability specialists/focal points- Review and respond to inquiries from rating agencies, investors and Clients on Group sustainability performance, policies or programs- Support the implementation or replacement of reporting tools
JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation:
Engineering / environmental science (Bac + 4/5 level) majoring in one of the following areas: environmental management, environmental engineering, geology, geography… or/and additional studies related to Corporate Social responsibility/sustainable development. Other profiles, including legal, finance, with an experience in sustainability, environment, human rights, or other sustainable development topics.Experience: A first experience in sustainability or sustainable development will be highly appreciatedLanguage: Fluency in English and French necessaryIMERYS SOFT SKILLS: AdaptabilityRigorGood interpersonal skills : Very strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to prioritise tasks Analytical and synthetic mindsetAutonomyTeam Spirit
