Sushi Production Chef
- £45,000 per annum
- 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

What would we like from our Sushi Production Chef?
- Display a real passion for food
- Previous experience within a demanding kitchen at the relevant level
- Team player with the ability to manage the team when Head Chef is absent
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
- Ability to manage costs, negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
- Compliant from both a Food Hygiene and Food Safety perspective
- Motivated, organised and efficient
- Relevant qualifications
Sushi Production Chef requirements:
- Advanced knife skills
- Experience in cutting sashimi, nigiri, salmon fillets, maki, nigiri, sashimi rolling
- Exceptionally high standards of food and presentation skills
- Experience of Poke bowls, bento boxes and modern sushi offerings
- Demonstrates a dedicated sense of service
- Has Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor a kitchen team meticulous with an eye for detail
- Proven experience in Japanese food specialising in correct cutting of Fish and Sashimi presentation
- Passionate about what you do and an eagerness to develop with us.
- Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence including working in front of customers and guests
- Has a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills.
- A 'Can do' attitude
- Good working knowledge of HACCP standards
