Responsibilities

As the leader for SMB and Edu, your time will be spent on the following:

• Developing and refining the long-range Surface growth and profitability plan for SMB and Edu in the UK.
• Leading the “go-to-market” strategy, including some unique device solutions (e.g. Surface Laptop SE for Edu customers).
• Being a passionate storyteller for the Surface portfolio, highlighting the value and capabilities of the devices, accessories and helping to reinforce the premium nature of the brand.
• Managing and optimizing the SMB and Edu business through Microsoft’s monthly and quarterly rhythms.
• Leading and orchestrating virtual teams of multiple stakeholder groups in the UK and abroad to help deliver the business objectives.

Qualifications

• Product Marketing / Marketing strategy and execution experience, ideally with exposure to Education or SMB customer segments.
• Experience with a hardware business.
• Extensive experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies.
• Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency, with an inclusive and collaborative mindset.
• Confidence in communications and presentations.  
• Proficient in business operations, including business planning and forecasting
