The job of the Surface Production Bulk Employee is to operate the loading equipment to load bulk trucks and rail cars as well as stockpiling operations. The employee will rotate through 5 areas of the Bulk operations:
• Tower Operator
• Stockpile Loader Operator
• 2 Truck Loader Operators on pad
• 1 Truck Loader Operator T4
• Trackmobile Operator and Rail Hopper
• Cleaner

Shift Available: 2nd shift
Compensation: $21/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

Principal Accountabilities:
- Operate and monitor equipment to track and relocate salt product
- Secure / prepare and load rail cars of product including operating track mobile to relocate cars, open / close hatches, and close lower gates on rail cars
- Communicate with truck drivers to line up trucks for loading
- Operate front end loaders to load trucks or to feed a hopper with product while operating a frontend loader at a rate that meets or exceeds the hoisted supply of product.
- Operate / load specialty products and mix YPS solution
- Manipulate the radial stacker for new rows of stockpile as directed.
- Maintain 200T bin operations with salt to meet the needs of the rail/ truck load schedule
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- High school degree or GED Equivalent
- Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends and different shifts with advance notice
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Heavy equipment, front end loader experience.
- Forklift certification or experience
- At least six months experience working in a production or plant environment
- Basic computer skills
