Membership subscriptions and regular gifts are a significant contributor to the Trust’s total income from supporters.
As we’re looking to increase growth even more, an opportunity has arisen and we’re looking for someone to work alongside the Head of Supporter Recruitment to support and deliver the development of the National Trust’s Supporter Recruitment objectives.
Salary £28,400 - £30,213 dependent on experience.
This role sits within the Supporter Recruitment Team, working alongside Head of Supporter Recruitment. Although part of the Whole Trust Membership Team, the Supporter Recruitment team also works very closely and in an integrated way with the Whole Trust Fundraising Team, and in particular colleagues working on Public Fundraising. The Supporter Recruitment Team is results and outcome focused and works across the Trust network of Consultancy and Operations, as well as closely alongside Whole Trust colleagues.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.
You’ll be working on major projects and workstreams, ensuring we have the analysis, insight, support, tools, and systems of work needed to achieve all aspects of the Trust’s Supporter Recruitment ambition.
Working closely with Communications and Insight, the Growing Support Consultancy, and properties on our supporter recruitment requirements, you’ll write clear marketing briefs, work in collaboration with other teams to develop and review creative content, and co-ordinate the production of Direct and Operational supporter recruitment marketing materials.
This is varied role and it’s about finding innovative solutions to issues. No two days will be same the same but it’s both rewarding and challenging.
The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart. We’re working hard to create an inclusive culture, where everyone feels they belong. It’s important that our people reflect and represent the diversity of the communities and audiences we serve. We welcome and value difference, so when we say we’re for everyone, we want everyone to be welcome in our teams too.
Wherever you’re from, and whatever your background, we want to hear from you – and it doesn’t matter if you’re jam first, cream first, or even if you don’t like scones at all. Everyone is welcome.
