About the role

  • We are looking for a bespoke dynamic and flexible team of staff to help to support young adults in Angus.
  • Not only will this be in their own home with all aspects of daily living, but also to support with education and to encourage them to be part of their local community to prevent social isolation.
  • We have full and part time roles available. We also will require a team of bank staff who can assist our team with holiday and sickness cover.
  • This is role will be challenging but rewarding in equal measures.

What we are looking for

  • You will be flexible with the ability to work a varied shift pattern including a combination of early, late, and waking night shifts over 7 days on a rolling rota. Some of the vacant roles will not require night shift working.
  • Preferably you will be over the age of 25 and have a full clean driving licence so you are able to drive our client's car.
  • We will have a few non driving positions available also.
  • Experience in working in Autism is advantageous.
  • Ideally you will be young at heart and enjoy social outings including, concerts, cinema, meals out and some sporting activities.
  • We are welcoming applications from candidates that have six months' paid experience in care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker, personal healthcare assistant, care worker or similar.

We offer

In return we will pay an hourly rate of £14.15 during the week and £17.23 at weekends working a full time 3/4 rotation with 8 hour shifts.
