£11.26 - £16.89 per hour (Enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays)
Hours: Mon - Fri: 07.00hrs - 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs - 20.00hrs; Sat & Sun: 09.30hrs - 20.00hrs and also during school holidays
Waking Nights also available on various packages within this area.
Are you looking for full or part time work? We are looking for EXPERIENCED carers to support a young person with cerebal palsy in the Castle Donington area. This young person requires round the clock care apart from when he is at college. He also requires our care team to have drive and ambition to keep him occupied with fun activities and support him to access the community and has recently started hydrotherapy. There are a variety of shifts available within this experienced team. Alternate weekend work would be required.
Applicants must have a MINIMUM of 6 months experience within complex care. Regular, ongoing work available from 2 days a week to 7 days a week. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have a shortened recruitment process and a Fast Track DBS service paid for by the company.
You must hold a valid UK drivers license as he requires access to the community via his own vehicle.

Your role will include: 
Administering medication   
Assisting with PEG feed
Assisting with activities of daily living, domestic duties and personal care  
Maintaining and updating reports such as care plans  
 
We're looking for:  
  
Six months' paid experience in complex care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, personal healthcare assistant, care worker or similar.   
Excellent communication skills  
A full driver's licence is required as driving mobility vehicle will be essential
Good professional and personal references
