The Supply Finance Manager serves as a trusted leader in the Royal Canin North America finance organization and provides financial support and leadership as the business partner (co-pilot) for 2 dry pet food factories in Lebanon, TN and Rolla, MO.

This position is responsible for the financial performance of the 2 factories, leading the financial governance and reporting as well as the period close processes, and providing transparency on operational efficiency and effectiveness via thorough analysis and actionable insights.  As a key member of the plant management teams in both factories, the critical success factor for this role will be defined by the plants’ ability to deliver operational excellence in the areas of cost and inventory management (including Do It Best activities), adherence to proper governance and controls, delivery of financial shape, and strengthening financial acumen within the factory.  This role will require up to 30% travel between the factories to ensure adequate support and face time with each.

What are we looking for?

• The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Acquired or actively pursuing post-graduate professional degree (CPA, CMA, MBA, etc.)
• 3+ years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment (cost accounting, inventory, capital), preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
• Problem Solving – can look to a broad range of solutions and won’t stop at the first answer
• Analytical and Technical Strength – highly competent user of Excel, including data look-ups, pivot tables, moderate to advanced operational and financial modelling techniques, etc.
• Systems acumen – ability to quickly grasp systems architecture and understand data flows between multiple systems

What will be your key responsibilities?

Provide accurate and timely insights and information to both the Factory & Finance teams in the following capacity: 

• Manages all related financial information for the 2 sites, including ownership and accountability for reporting to local, regional, and global partners
• Leads the period closing process in Microsoft Dynamics Navision for both factories
• Leads the periodic forecast updates for the S&OP+ processes and the annual execution plan process for the scope of the 2 factories
• Actively partners with the site leadership teams to drive operational performance and meet financial shape commitments
