About the team

As part of the Online, Stores and Supply Chain team, reporting to the Inventory Development Manager the team are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and commercial performance across our Stores estate (Company owned and Franchised), Online platforms and Supply Chain including Smart Metering.

Across the team there is also responsibility for £2bn working capital expenditure and £40m operational expenditure p.a.

The Reporting Analyst works closely alongside the Used Devices Planner and Inventory SIM Supply Planner as the Inventory development team ensuring the business has the right product in the right place at the right time balanced with efficient use of the company's cash along with ensuring we work with our Supply Chain suppliers and partners to provide great customer experiences associated with stock purchase.

About the role

The role holder is responsible for producing Supply Chain reporting with frequency determined by business needs ensuring data accuracy, simplicity of the data presentation and delivery on time.

Working on strategies to further enhance specific Supply Chain BI abilities to provide timely and useful information that can be used to influence Supply Chain KPIs. 

Providing reporting support during key product launches and other projects within Supply Chain.

Responsible for day-to-day communication with Global Supply Chain and other Telefonica BI teams or external reporting service providers.

the role ensures that adherence to governance, risk management, BSI / ISO quality / environmental management processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Managing Power BI solution for the UK business
  • Developing and delivering PBI reporting and monitoring current reporting in PBI
  • Responsible for producing Supply chain KPI reporting as per agreed schedule and format, new product launch reporting, Channel/vendor/product specific reporting and operations performance reporting or any other reporting as determined by the business
  • Responsible for managing any issue which may arise during production of the reporting such as data feeds, systems’ availability, accuracy of the data etc… whilst ensuring the quality of reporting is not compromised
  • Responsible for implementing enhanced reporting capability via standalone reporting dashboard tool as determined by the business
  • Support Supply Chain team by creating new reports on-going and ad-hoc reports when required as well as continuously optimise reporting process to drive efficiency
  • Ensuring data accuracy by providing reporting validation mechanism

 

What We Need from You:

 

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (PowerPivot/ Query & Macro/VBA knowledge required)
  • Advanced MS Access skills
  • Advanced MS PowerBI skills
  • Knowledge of DAX
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative Working Skills to build & maintain relationships and partnerships
  • Experienced in working on change programmes
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret and act on complex sets of data and drive to a commercial outcome
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt innovative change mechanisms
  • A clear and decisive thinker who makes rational, logical, and reasoned judgments
  • Knowledge of Micro Strategy would be beneficial
  • Experience in a supply chain environment or similar industry would be beneficial
