Job Description

 Ã¼    Work with Suppliers & Logistics Planning Analysts to improve performance standards for suppliers

o    Delivering consistently below 95% on time
o    Suppliers with lack of capacity/capability
o    Suppliers with lack of planning or execution discipline

ü    Collaborate with Logistics Planning Analysts and suppliers to get promise dates and actively follow-up & monitor progress on all the supplier's commitments. 

ü    Engage and discuss with Global Purchasing whenever a lack of supplier capacity/capability is identified. 

ü    Take ownership to lead the appropriate action plans for process improvements with Purchasing and other Process Partners including Warehouse and Transportation teams.

People: - Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.

Leadership:  No direct reports. Will demonstrate project leadership skill level required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.

Strategy: Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of Global Parts Supply strategic initiatives. 

Customers:  This role needs close interaction with Strategic and Site Purchasing Teams, Warehouse and other process partners including Transportation teams and Customer Service Teams. 
.
ELIGIBILITY:

•    Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Logistics/Supply Chain.
•    6-Sigma and CPS Knowledge. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
•    Experience in Business unit logistic planning groups, including demand planning, logistic planning

  • Work experience 8 – 12 yrs
    •    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    •    Ability to perform data query analysis
    •    Good Oral & Written Communication skills
    •    Interpersonal, teamwork, organization, and communication skills
    •    Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles
    •    Value behavior of Integrity, Teamwork

DESIRED QUALIFICATION
•    A background in Manufacturing, Operations, Inventory Management, Material Requirements and/or           Supply Chain /Logistics.
•    Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.
•    Able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
