NAOU’s manufacturing landscape has / is changed significantly over the last year and will continue to change as we move towards an “asset right†strategy. The Manager of Supply Chain Optimization – Transition planning is a strategically critical role that aims to use optimization and supply chain modeling to assist in plant closures, openings and line additions as we move towards this strategy. In order to assist in these efforts this position will require development and maintenance of optimization models to answer strategic for cross-functional partners in engineering, commercial, finance and contract manufacturing through translation of model results into clear and concise presentations. This position will also assist in re-tooling our data workflows into our optimization modeling software as we transition to S4 (new version of SAP).
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage Transition Planning Modeling: Collect Data, develop and maintain models, and present findings to cross-functional partners
Re-tool model data workflows: Re-develop, refine and automate current data-flows to optimization software with new tools and systems
Presentation Development: Create presentations and recommendations for cross-functional partners
Training and Development: Train, mentor and coach analysts and interns
