OpsTech IT supply chain team is accountable to manage all IT infrastructure and end user equipment deployed across Amazon Fulfillment facilities globally. The team is responsible to ensure our key partners readiness. Our initiatives deliver on the solutions that power the physical fulfillment to millions of Amazon.com customers across the world.
As a Supply Chain Executive - Supply Risk, you will manage suppliers and IT equipment for the EMEA region. This position falls under the material management vertical of OpsTech IT supply chain team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver value to our internal customers.

Key job responsibilities
• Provides the overall business visibility on the end to end suppliers readiness
• Develops tools to facilitate the supplier readiness visibility to all key stakeholders
• Drive the overall suppliers readiness in term of inventory and ability to deliver on key launch projects (internal customers)
• Serve as a liaison between the demand planning team and the suppliers to ensure the correct level of forecasting is being communicated to our key suppliers
• Define and maintain the supplier inventory policies to ensure sufficient inventory to meet our internal customers’ demands
• Lead the manufacturers and resellers forecasts review
• Collaborate cross functionally to ensure continuity of supply
• Participate to MBRs / QBRs and vendor score carding to ensure adherence to business objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or I.T. related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience with focus on supply chain planning and suppliers relationship management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Degree
• 10+ years of experience with focus on supply chain, strategic sourcing, operational planning, or supplier management.
• Experience and knowledge of I.T. equipment and components, including network infrastructure, peripherals, and end user equipment, suppliers, and the related supply chains
• Ability to proactively manage supplier relationships to drive value for our customers
• Ability to exercise judgment in evaluation of suppliers, supplier performance, and ensure that project goals, schedules and performance requirements are achieved
• Strategic, long term critical thinking and planning
• Financial analysis and value / TCO analysis
• An understanding of global supply risk and its implications
• Bias for action and urgency
• Customer obsession and clear concise communications skills
• Must have a positive, collaborative attitude
• Likes to challenge convention and strive for innovation
• Excellent verbal skills and above average written communication skills
• Strong PC skills including Windows and Excel
