Job Description

The Supply Chain Lean Leader will be responsible for developing manufacturing initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes to order to enable meeting the key performance indicators (on time delivery, inventory, cost of quality, etc.).

As the Supply Chain Lean Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology utilizing state of the art tools and methodologies
  • Establishing and implement team strategies, programs, and practices to achieve world class manufacturing inventory turns and process flow
  • Leading multiple teams and drive best practices in process design and implementation
  • Advising and counsel leaders on issues affecting inventory and work in process flow
  • Creating the lean vision and implement the lean strategy to reduce inventory, lead-time and waste at the manufacturing facility
  • Driving measurable improvements in productivity and product flow
  • Leading Action Workouts, develop pull systems, train personnel and other activities to achieve a world-class lean process flow
  • Developing value stream maps for the product lines and eliminate process waste through the implementation of lean techniques across the product lines
  • Encouraging use of Lean tools to pull material from suppliers, through component plants, and into assembly
  • Training people across the organization in LEAN methodologies

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited institution
  • Have min 1 year of Experience/Understanding of Lean Methodologies

Desired Characteristics:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred
  • Be team oriented
  • Have ability to problem solving situations
  • ASPIRE graduate
  • Have knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, Action Workouts, Kaizen, s, and other lean tools is preferred
  • Have analytical and problem solving skills
  • Have ability to motivate teams and lead change at all levels of the organization
  • Have facilitation and presentation skills
  • Have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Have effecive interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
