Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and communicating the daily material call off to external warehouses for all Mars Food GRV raw and packaging materials.
• Verifying material availability at the site for upcoming production requirements through the analysis of SAP reports and physical inventory counts.
• Perform Physical Counts and End of Runs and report the information using assigned templates.
• Perform Miscellaneous counts and complete adjustments in SAP.
• Lead Send Back process and ensure additional materials are returned to the warehouses daily.
• Monitors the inventory of returnable pallets at the site and coordinate with the vendor to ensure proper quality of material and service is maintained.
• Monitors the yard report for trailer availability, evaluate risks and take appropriate mitigation steps to ensure constant availability of trailers and continuous flow of material and finished goods between plant and the external warehouses.
• Co-ordinate the movement and unloading of trailers to ensure materials are not staying on the yard for excessive amount of time that may present a quality risk to the product.
• Responsible for the receiving process for HAP Rice into US82.
• Receive material and complete transactions in SAP.
• Clear COGIs on a shift by shift basis.
• Co-ordinate with Waste Management partner to ensure all streams of waste (Pallets, Cardboard, RTH pouches, general trash etc.) are moved in a timely fashion.
• Supports/leads RCA investigations and Corrective actions for high inventory variance items.
• Helps locate materials when needed for Line Suppliers, Operators and Shift Managers.
• Provides leadership in coordination of problem-solving activities as needed to resolve SAP issues and questions. Helps assist associates in SAP transactions/questions throughout the site.
• Retain primary responsibility for warehouse organization and staging materials to minimize damage and maximize easy access to materials and inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity.
• Promote high quality team environment through effective teamwork and self-direction with a positive attitude.
• Obtain and maintain proficiency in job specific business systems such as SAP, Red Prairie, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Remain current with facility utilized business systems.

Decision Making

• Prioritization of trailers to unload.
• Recommend changes to production schedule based on potential material risks.
• Define priorities for Port City.
• Material loading and shipping priority for the warehouses.
• Recommend inventory corrections in SAP.
• Stop any actions that may present a Safety or Quality risk.
