POSITION SUMMARY
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for general oversight and portfolio priority management for initiatives sponsored by portfolios outside of PBM Operations but impacting PBM Operations products or programs.
The PBM Ops BPO Portfolio Manager is responsible for continued alignment with cross-functional Service and Execution BPOs, both within PBM Operations and without, as well as key Technology partners. The ultimate goal of PBM Ops BPO Portfolio Management is to manage an overarching list of portfolio priorities that ensure, to the best of our ability, that portfolio funding is allocated to the most value-driving priorities. Portfolio Management responsibilities include Portfolio Intake (Single Entry Point), portfolio prioritization, financial management, reporting, and general support of technology planning and oversight for all initiatives sponsored by the Sales, Regulated Markets and Supply Chain Portfolios.
PORTFOLIO INTAKE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Portfolio Manager must be prepared to initiate the Intake of any new sponsored by the Sales, Regulated Markets or Supply Chain business portfolios. This typically requires:

The Portfolio Manager must oversee the funding and prioritization process for each assigned initiative and ensure that each assigned initiative, if not cancelled, is formally assigned to a lead BPO for execution before closing the request. This typically requires:

Irrespective of assigned initiatives, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for assisting with any efforts to obtain, quantify and organize supporting data within enterprise applications. This allows Portfolio Management to:

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
