We are looking for a motivated Supply chain Specialist who can thrive in a dynamic environment and will contribute to the creation and implementation of Supply chain processes.  

The Supply chain specialist is responsible for providing event/promotional support for a designated Customer Supply Chain team. The job holder is expected to provide and implement recommendations aimed at improving event/promotional activities and customer inventory. This role will also partner with Mars Sales and Customer Demand Planning teams to facilitate the flawless execution of customer-specific programs as well as Seasonal execution.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year with Supply Chain (order management, production planning, inventory analysis/management, outbound logistics, etc.) or equivalent school study.
• Ability to travel 5% of the time
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program in business, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred to have hands-on responsibility with outside customers within the last 12 months
• Bachelor's Degree
• Understanding of Retail Link and GRS

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support supply/demand planning and operations.
• Understand assigned customers’ expectations on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s
• Work with team members to recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays or out of stock situations to ensure customer orders will deliver on time and complete
• Collaborate with CSCM to contribute to Customer Satisfaction Plan development and execution.
