Job summary

The European Long Term Network Planning team forecasts, plans, and optimizes the flow of billions of units each year. We are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Analyst with strong analytical skills and experience to lead the long term strategy for Inbound and transfers

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting volumes and defining optimal strategy for the EU network. They will develop models for forecasting and optimization as well as lead various business initiatives. As the owner of long term plan, they will drive long term decisions including site location, design, capacity expansion (buildouts), financial viability and impact on network dynamics. Position provides opportunities to influence one of the high visibility/high impact areas in the organization. The candidate will play an integral part in improving network efficiency by successfully partnering with various operations, consumer, engineering, real estate and finance teams to plan and implement decisions.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy and ever-changing environment. This role will influence the direction of the business by leveraging our data to deliver insights that drive decisions and actions. The role will involve translating broad business problems into specific analytics projects, conducting deep quantitative analyses, and communicating results effectively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or similar)
  • Proven experience in delivering and influencing business processes using data analysis.
  • Proven experience of working in a highly complex analytical environment preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation Planning.
  • Able to write SQL scripts for analysis and reporting ( SQL, MySQL)
  • Fluency in MS Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
  • Attention to detail and high ability for data mining.
  • Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/ designing innovative methods, systems and processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain or transportation planning and network modeling
  • Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight).
