The Supply Chain Finished Goods Analyst prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics with primary focus on Consignment Planning and Inventory Control. This role is also responsible for leveraging industry best practices and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements in Material Control, Inventory Scaling, and Finished Goods Distribution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
Analyze and plan material requirements to ensure optimal inventory levels exist for consignment business or other finished goods.
Analyze forecasts and trends in manufacturing, sales, and distribution.
Serve as primary liaison to a business unit to ensure their supply chain needs are met.
Prepare supply chain and material management research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.
Participate in or lead process effectiveness and continuous improvement projects.
Provide support for new product introduction or transitions.
Customer Focus:
Able to understand customers and market trends to proactively identify/execute strategies that gain Supply Chain efficiencies and improve service to customers.
Acts with a sense of urgency to protect both Internal and External customers.
Analytical Skills:
Advanced skills taking large amounts of multivariate data and distilling into meaningful solutions.
Able to develop systematic processes to recreate complex analyses for frequent monitoring of various business conditions.
Works with quantitative and qualitative analyses and models for decision making and problem solving.
Able to utilize Lean Six Sigma tools.

Frequent cross-functional collaboration with multiple areas/levels of the organization.
Ability to help connect priorities and goals to big picture objectives and strategies.

High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
4 - 5 years SML or related experience.
Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion.
Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Google Workspace and function specific software.
Proficient with the use of Databases, Spreadsheets, Mainframe/ERP Systems, and modeling methods for analysis.
