As a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist at Mars you will assure compliance to our supplier management and risk assessment standards/plans. You will lead supplier audits, while acting as the subject matter expert regarding the ingredient or material for which you are leading. Your goal will be to mitigate any recall risk, and assure that we are delivery the best quality products possible to our customers

What are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of commercial/supplier quality experience.
• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
• Manufacturing experience, with the willingness and physical capability to work in such environments when necessary.
• Minimum of a bachelors degree.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• You will provide expertise in the processing of materials and ingredients for your given product line.
• Lead several aspects of the supplier relationship, including data compliance, quality audits, and hazard controls.
• Partnering with our internal buyers to ensure all material specifications are reviewed, understood, and agreed to by the suppliers.
