Job description:

They all know you at the football club or you are famous at your fitness school because you walk out the door here. You prefer to be involved in sports and exercise on a daily basis. Now this is a wonderful place, but do you also earn your salary with this? If not, now is your chance! It is your dream to turn your hobby into your profession, for this reason you have finally obtained a diploma in sports and exercise or are you busy completing this. As a Sports and Exercise Supervisor you are the right person to enthuse youth to start exercising. Who is 'the youth'? These are children between the ages of 6 and 12. 

You will be responsible for organizing various events with a focus on (you guessed it) sports. Of course you have various ideas for this, but you don't have to reinvent the wheel all by yourself. There are already several plans that you can use. As soon as you have worked out a plan, you can start teaching sports at primary schools, after-school care location. In addition, it is of course nice if you practice a sport yourself, because this means that you know a lot about it and can therefore explain more. For example, are you a rugby player, footballer or do you practice a completely different sport? Top! This, in combination with your Sport and Exercise diploma, is what makes you the new sports and exercise supervisor. 

Where will you work?

Your location is where you will enthuse these children from 6 to 12. This can of course be in a gym, but can also be outdoors. Of course there are some regions where you will work, these are: Amersfoort, Baarn, Huizen, Hilversum and finally: Utrecht. Do you need a specific location? Then it's up to you to get it started. In any case, there is no shortage of energy and if there is, you know how to reverse this situation!

What does your working day look like?

Your working day looks the way you hope it will: as little as possible behind a desk and as much as possible on your legs. You are a fanatic and this is reflected in your working days, for example, which look like this:

• you come up with a new plan for a sports lesson
• You work out this sports lesson and you look at all the supplies
• you give the sports lesson on location to the children who participate (between 6 and 12 years old)
• you help the children and support them where necessary, after all you are the coach!

Do you recognize yourself in this?

As mentioned, we are looking for a fanatic, but above all we are looking for someone who mainly enjoys being involved with sports and to enthuse children with sports. That is why it is important that you at least:

• have completed a sports training or are busy with this
• you are available 32-40 hours a week on a flexible basis
• you like to be innovative and think about (new) teaching methods
• you are in possession of a driving license (due to the diversity of locations)
• you think it is important to enthuse young people about sport and you know how to approach this!

What do you get in return?

For this reason, in addition to your daily movement, you will also receive the following in return:

• a salary of €2000 - €2400 per month based on 40 hours
• irregularity allowances and 25% overtime allowance
• travel allowance from home to the locations
• 25 vacation days per year on a full-time basis
• 8.33% holiday allowance based on your annual salary earned
• career opportunities, you may be a sports coordinator in two years!
