Job Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Human Resources Supervisor'sresponsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Ø On the floor interactions with employees on all shifts, responding to employees’ issues/concerns in support of a positive employee relations’ environment
Ø Payroll processing
Ø Benefits administration and coordination of medical coverage and questions with Corporate Insurance
Ø HRIS system administration including payroll issues, employee data input, daily attendance, and other related areas
Ø Talent Acquisition – sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, background screening and reference checks
Ø Maintenance of employee files and records
Ø Ensure compliance with government filings (I-9, FMLA) and postings
Ø Administering the plants Affirmative Action Plan
Ø Conduct New Hire Orientation/Onboarding
Ø Administering Training
Ø Coordination of FMLA, Workers Comp and other related leave issues
Ø Assist in resolving employee relations issues
Ø Process employment requisitions, change notices, and tuition reimbursements
Ø Support the Health & Safety initiatives for the Plant.
Ø Assist in the coordination of employee communications and meetings to keep employees informed
Ø Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Requirements
Ø Associates Degree in HR or related discipline; PHR certification a plus
Ø 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ø Experience in employee relations, benefits and payroll administration
Ø Thorough understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
Ø Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Ø May occasionally need to work evening and weekend hours to support shifts
Preferred Requirements
Ø Professional certification
Ø AS400 experience

Physical Requirements
Ø While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ø The associate may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Ø Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
Ø Generally works in an office setting but will be required to perform some job duties inside a plant environment.
Ø While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
Ø The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
Ø The noise level is frequently loud.
