We are seeking someone to join our Financial Services team in St. Louis, MO as a Supervisor, Billing & Cash Application.  In this role you will ensure the development and maintenance of an effective internal control structure within your respective area of responsibility, including internal controls over the financial statement close process.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, Billing & Cash Application, you will:

  • Assure all closing, balancing, and reconciliation activity is done monthly in accordance with corporate closing requirements
  • Work closely with accounting to balance open accounts receivable balances, unapplied cash, and credit cards to the accounting general ledger.
  • Set up and attend both internal customer meetings for problem resolution on cash posting, accounts receivable closing, invoicing, or master data issues
  • Process application of intercompany payments between Caleres US and Canada

Qualifications

We seek people with these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • 5- 7+ years of related Financial or Administrative experience preferred
  • Required: Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook
