Become a Strategy Summer Scholar at Deloitte!
We’re looking for talented Summer Scholars who are results oriented, love a challenge, and have a natural curiosity for solving problems. Work You’ll Do
As a Strategy Summer Scholar, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment that exposes you to a variety of experiences across industries, disciplines, and geographies, while you develop your business skills. You are a strategic storyteller, critical thinker, tech-savvy innovator, entrepreneur, and purpose-driven leader who thrive in ambiguity and enjoys working in team environments. You leverage a ‘business first lens’ across functional and industry topics to shape strategic agendas, drive enterprise transformations, and deliver innovative solutions to clients., and you have a passion for tackling a variety of business, technological, and organizational challenges head-on.
As a Strategy Summer Scholar, you will work at the intersection of corporate, customer, M&A, workforce, and operational strategy. You will work alongside industry-leading clients to help them make decisions and implement enhancements to their organizations’ strategy, productivity, performance, and long-term profitability. You will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical skills, solve complex business problems, and communicate your findings to executive audiences. Building a go-to-market strategy and business case to bring a new product to market,
Shaping a post-COVID work, workforce, and workplace strategy and transformation roadmap,
Conducting a technology assessment and building a new tech strategy to support future business needs,
Crafting enterprise and operating model designs and guiding the organizations through the transition,
Creating and executing an acquisition strategy to access new markets and guiding organizations through the acquisition,
Developing a supply chain operations strategy to improve efficiencies and reduce cost, and
Defining a digital/omnichannel customer experience and building a technology implementation roadmap
The Team
Our consultants offer insightful recommendations and data-fueled strategies to help our clients address some of their most complex business issues. You will work alongside and learn from cross-functional teams with leaders and peers with varying backgrounds, education, and experiences. We are a diverse and talented team that supports a collaborative culture and delivers value through the application of strategy and operational improvements. Required Qualifications
Junior standing in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date between December 2022 and August 2023
Bachelor’s degree in progress in the following or related majors:
Business (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Org Behavior)
Economics
Science
Technology
Engineering
Mathematics
Operations & Supply Chain
Liberal Arts (e.g., Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5)
Availability to participate full-time for a 10-week internship June to August 2022
Ability to travel up to 50%

During this challenging and inspiring learning experience, you’ll gain first-hand insights into technical skills, critical professional behaviors, standards, and mindsets needed to be effective as a strategy consultant. You’ll work with a wide variety of talented strategic leaders and learn how to develop, implement, and measure innovative strategies, tackle real-world business issues head-on, and experience first-hand the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of this exciting career. Summer Scholars will also be invited to participate in the Consulting Summer Scholar Internship Conference hosted during the summer at Deloitte University.
