The Sub Editor works with the Chief Sub Editor to ensure ASOS content is error-free, consistent and in the correct tone of voice. This includes homepage, promo copy, Style Feed articles, CRM emails and push notifications, brand partnerships content, organic/paid social, UX/UI and special projects. It goes without saying that the candidate will have an instinctive understanding of spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax – but the ability to scrutinise tone of voice is also key to this role.
