Job Mission:

We are offering an internship with a special focus in spatial Omics and image analysis to join our cross functional team.

Highplex fluorescence- and imaging mass cytometry-based technologies are increasingly integrated in the preclinical safety workflows. These technologies pave the way for deep cell phenotyping and are expected to significantly contribute to an in depth understanding of compound- associated lesions and their translational relevance for humans. In PS, several high plex platforms have been evaluated including the Hyperion, MIBI-TOF and Milltenyi-Macsima  imaging system. The Qi Tissueâ„¢ Image Analysis Software offers reliable and fast cell segmentation, versatile gating options and easy to use clustering and analysis 

Your impact:

During the internship, we aim to implement the Qi Tissueâ„¢ Image Analysis Software as a user-friendly and standardized tool to evaluate  highplex fluorescence- and imaging mass cytometry-based technologies derived from different platforms (Hyperion, MIBI-TOF and Milltenyi-Macsima).  In this regard, the internship position will cover a key project that will contribute to establishing high plex platforms in PS- pathology and immunosafety workflows.

Your profile:

You are at least pursuing your Master Degree in the area of Molecular Biology, Biology or Medical Science. You are highly motivated, interested in a purpose- and people-driven and multinational environment and you have already gained some laboratory and image analysis experience.

Moreover:

• Ideally you  have proven and previous histology experience

• You have experience with fluorescent microscopy

• You have expertise with image analysis software ideally ImageJ/Fidji, Imaris, HALO, Visiopharm or definiens

• Optional: you had previous experience with Spatial Omics images

• You are fluent in English

• You display excellent organizational skills and a pro-active knowledge sharing
