As an integral member of the Global Talent Acquisition team, you will report to the Asia Talent Sourcing Manager for Microsoft and provide a country aligned focus on Microsoft’s total talent sourcing strategy for our Enterprise business in India. You will have the autonomy to drive strategic talent projects such as Diversity and Inclusion, Market Intelligence or Candidate Marketing/Attraction in a truly flexible working environment as part of a highly engaged international team.

Talent Sourcing
- Build talent pipelines for immediate and future talent needs by developing and acting on market intelligence, referrals, mapping and sourcing campaigns.
- Work alongside Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deeply understand the business units' strategic objectives for talent and make relevant recommendations.
- Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent
- Research, build and report on competitive and market driven insights to help Microsoft hiring managers better understand their unique talent markets
- Embody a truly consultative approach with HR and Business partners to ensure continuous innovation to Microsoft’s talent sourcing and talent engagement strategies
- Develop strategies to generate differentiated talent in emerging roles or highly competitive talent pools to meet long-term business needs (e.g., industry, technical recruiting).
- Build, own and nurture candidate relationships, staying connected right through to the point of hire
Candidate Attraction
- Elicits interest in active and potential candidates by telling the business story, and contributes to the development of new stories. Generates awareness through community outreach events and strategic networking.
- Shares best practices on sourcing, recruiting, and/or closing techniques and stories with their own team. Tracks candidate activity and shares with internal stakeholders.
- Coaches the client to represent Microsoft’s unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards that are distinct from those of competitors.
Candidate Experience
- Gathers requirements and develops hiring plans that meet candidate needs throughout the hiring lifecycle. Owns elements of the candidate experience and prepares candidates for next phases of the process. Enhances the candidate experience at all phases of the relationship by proactively identifying factors that may adversely impact the candidate, and sharing with the business to mitigate.
Candidate Assessment & Screening
- Executes initial screening and assessing of candidates. Qualifies talent pool by assessing relevant factors such as ability to hire, relocation considerations, immigration, and compensation.
- 7+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role.
- Extensive recruiting & sourcing experience within an RPO or internal talent acquisition role
- Excellent research, sourcing, candidate engagement and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for and significant experience in building strategic candidate pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions and stakeholders through the provision of solid market insights
- Strong business acumen to be able to comprehend business needs and structure

- OR Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IT technology (e.g. Cloud computing, IoT, AI) trends and previous experience in Software/Internet/IT Consulting industry will be a plus
- Experience with official mind mapping tools to present Sourcing Strategy
- Talent Intelligence Programs experience
