What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, supply chain or related discipline
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Sourcing or other procurement related experience. Open to high potential recent graduates.
• Knowledge of P&L and YOY cost savings metrics
• Progressive experience utilizing strategic sourcing methodology
• Proven communication skills, verbal and written

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Accountable for ~$60MM in spend in the packaging essentials category
• Utilize strategic sourcing methodology to perform category analysis, develop category strategies, source, negotiate contracts and manage suppliers to deliver total lowest cost materials, ensure speed to market, value creation and mitigate the supply risks.  Intimately understands the category markets and cost drivers and develops annual budgets for the Region.
• Proactively works with suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement and technology which ultimately leads to competitive advantage and working capital opportunities.
• Proactively works with category sourcing managers to build synergies, leverage suppliers and obtain market intelligence to deliver business growth and strategies.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners across the region, relative to sourcing activity:  Quality, Innovation, Packaging, Productivity, Coman/Copacker Team, Operations Business Team, Finance, Product Supply and Procurement Operational Team.
• Work closely with productivity teams to identify cost reduction programs
• Work with cross-segment, cross regional buying teams to develop sustainability strategies
• Work together with Quality Assurance and Regulatory to ensure all packaging is in compliance with all requirements
• Provide analytical support to the group
