The newly created Strategic Projects Manager roles will support the Head of Transformation & PMO in driving forward the key strategic projects across the UK&I, in order to execute the growth strategy for Costa’s UK&I market.

These roles would suit individuals coming from a business change ideally consultancy background, running multiple workstreams working within Strategy.

A bit about the role...

Reporting to the Head of Transformation and PMO, these four roles will focus on collaborating with senior managers, to execute projects and analyse the project portfolio to ensure that work aligns to strategic decisions. You will evaluate project flow, publish reports and conduct review meetings to keep projects on track, enabling the UK&I to prioritise its work. This results in tangible business value to the entire company. Areas of activity would be expected to include the delivery of Projects which underpin the LRP and/or ABP, and are particularly complex or cross-functional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking strategic projects from conception through to full business sign-off including defined scope, benefits, timelines and benefits
• Engaging with stakeholders across to the business to enable buy-in
• Identifying risks and issues then implementing actions to mitigate
• Ensure that contingencies are managed through when the plan is impacted
• Ensure that deliverables are achieved and tracked

• A degree level or equivalent Project Management qualification
• A track record within consultancy managing multiple programmes within a complex business
• Excellent project planning and organisation skills
• Strategy development experience
• Excellent report writing (Word and Powerpoint) and presentation skills for a UK&I Exec Board audience
• Ability to develop partnerships and positive working relationships at all levels across matrix organisations
• Ability to collate, analyse and interpret detailed information

Location / Travel: Hybrid working with approx. 1-3 days a week in our offices and/or stores and/or agencies, mainly in London and occasionally in Dunstable
