The AGCO Parts Division has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Program Manager to join its team in delivering extraordinary results at the Batavia, IL Parts Distribution Center. This is a leading role in evaluating and planning regional revenue growth opportunities in managing related process, and organizational change requirements. The Batavia PDC is the master distribution center for North America operating around the clock to serve internal and external customers on a global scale. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.

 

The main responsibilities of the role will be to carry out special projects with results focused on maximizing AGCO Parts Division profitability and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC). The role will have a focus on the assembling of data, analysis of performance, and developing data-based recommendations to fulfill their main responsibilities. Additionally, the Strategic Program Manager role will collaborate with a broad range of people such as sales, IT, marketing, supply chain, vendors, AGCO dealerships, and global partners to meet business needs.

  

What you will do:

 

  • Steer the identification, evaluation and incubation of new business growth & customer retention opportunities
  • Support the Marketing and Sales department in their organization and business approaches
  • Program management on all growth & profit margin expansion initiatives

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, MIS, Statistics or Business or equivalent work experience

 

A plus if you have:

 

  • Master Degree from Business School
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
  • Deep expertise and experience in Strategy development and implementation, and specific functional know how on Sales and Marketing related topics
  • Extensive experience in leading goal oriented projects from identification to execution in an international/global environment
  • Familiar with state-of-the-art project management methodologies
  • Previous work in a management consulting and/or business development environment and is familiar with the tools and requirements related to strategy development and implementation
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience on growth related projects in the manufacturing and engineering industry
  • Previous experience in the Agricultural Machinery or comparable industries is desired but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SQL, SAS and other tools preferred

 

Travel Requirements:

 

  • 10-20% of time
