Reporting to Global Procurement Director of SME Components and Spare Parts, this position supports and acts on behalf of North America Operating Unit (NAOU) as well as TCCC Global Procurement and SME Procurement and Manufacturing. Current annual spend of SME (Sales and Marketing Equipment) Components and Spare Parts by NAOU totals in $170MM. This position is responsible for leading and executing strategic activities within the region such as strategy development, value chain analysis, supply and demand, sourcing events, negotiation lead and coordination and a variety of reporting responsibilities. The position acts as subject matter expert for SME Components and Spare Parts, and requires close coordination, facilitating and collaboration with NAOU Foodservice along with colleagues across key internal functions such as Engineering, Quality, Marketing, as well as SME Procurement and Manufacturing team, Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG), and CCBSS.
Function Specific Activities:
- Understand NAOU business requirements/needs, develop and implement parts procurement strategies to meet those needs.
- Provide product, service, and supply chain expertise to business unit to build relationships, drive collaboration, increase participation and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead collaborative sourcing events with active coordination and participation from key leadership stakeholders; develop recommendations and gain leadership consensus. Ensure all activities undertaken follow compliance, confidentiality, and standards policies and processes.
- Build and enhance regional and global supplier relationships and comprehensive engagement to secure alignment with procurement strategies, build win-win collaboration to drive sustainable value, ensure parts supply continuity and improve supplier performance through metrics and joint objectives with key internal stakeholders
- Make recommendations to secure supply, reduce costs, and improve delivery while leveraging NAOU Foodservice purchasing power.
- Draft, negotiate and execute commercial contracts including master supply & services agreements and statements of work
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Business or related area; MBA preferred
- Work Experience: At least 7 years direct related work experience
- Other Work Experience: Direct experience in aspects relating to Sales & Marketing equipment and parts activities would be a great advantage (e.g., supply chain, operations, technical, quality)

- Hands-on experience in the successful business application of procurement skills, including supplier evaluation and selection, execution of supply plans, evaluation of results and supplier performance, negotiation plan development and execution, competitive bidding, supplier relationship management, contracts negotiation and execution.

- Cross functional leadership: knowledge of the needs of key internal functions and ability to collaborate and influence cross functional team to achieve the procurement plan and best interest of organization.
Technical Skills:
- Solid analytical thought processes, both qualitative and quantitative to identify significant elements, drive sound conclusions and actionable plan.
- Product/Service Knowledge of Sales and Marketing equipment and parts
- Contracting: Negotiate acceptable contractual terms with all suppliers in the category to include intellectual property rights, warranties, liabilities, termination, etc. to ensure full protection of the Company.
- Supplier Management: the ability to evaluate and ensure that supplier performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall Company policies and procedures.
- A consistent track record of achieving outstanding business results in a range of circumstances (examples: different products and services; strong and weak markets; different supplier sizes and types of relationships; etc.)
