Job Purpose and Impact
The Strategic Marketing Manager- Equine will design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle. We seek a professional who will identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, define promotional activities and handle product through phase-out for United States and Canada.
**This position offers remote work within the United States or Canada.**
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and coordinate product introductions andcreate marking plan in collaboration with marketing communications within the U.S. and Canada by interacting with innovation and technical teams.
- Compile, evaluate research on market product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality to support execution of the portfolio strategy.
- Contribute to short- and long-term strategy building for the North American equine category.
- Coordinate program planning to identify internal manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations.
- Plan, organize and coordinate promotional programs to accomplish equine financial and budgetary goals.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for business within United States and Canada
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in United States or Canada

Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of experience in Strategic Marketing or related discipline within the equine industry.
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or similar educational degree.
- Strong equine industry experience, equine management experience, or equine nutrition experience
- Results oriented, innovative and creative.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in developing marketing plans and brand management.
- Bilingual (English & French).
