The primary focus of the Mainframe Strategic Growth Leader is to grow the mainframe business for BMC by increasing market share, replacing legacy competitors in this market, and contributing to the transformation of the mainframe business for BMC customers.
In this position you will be working together with the Sales Leadership functions to drive sales (Geo Leader, Partnerships, Customer Success, Marketing…), as well as with the Product Leadership team in driving the competitive replacements sales strategy for the mainframe business.
As the Mainframe Strategic Growth Leader, you will have the following responsibilities:
·         Define the complete strategy Including:
o    Competitive and market analysis
o    Key markets and segments to target
o    Value Proposition
o    Go-to-markets (BMC Salesforce, alliances, partnerships)
·         Put in place a programmatic approach to execute strategy
·         Take an active role in developing strong relationships with your ecosystem (peer Manager/Solutions Engineering Managers/Corporate functions)
·         Effectively communicate to your team a vision aligned with the organization’s mission, strategy and direction
·         Present vision and strategy to CXOs and analysts
·         Engage with key customers at senior level to support sales cycles
·         Drive pipeline generation efforts and initiatives
·         Lead by example with the highest level of integrity
·         Ensure customer satisfaction remains high and develop referenceable clients’ interaction
What we seek:
·       An experienced sales professional with a track record of success
·       An effective communicator with the ability to explain the strategy and vision of our Mainframe Solutions portfolio
·        You will have experience of building programmatic and competitive sales strategies
·        A recognized sales leader with knowledge and experience in the mainframe market
·        You will have the ability to spin the web in large multinational vendors and culturally diverse markets
