Job Purpose and Impact
The Strategic Diversity Equity and Inclusion Projects Lead will provide advanced knowledge and leadership to deliver strategic diversity, equity and inclusion projects for the organization, partnering with diversity, equity and inclusion leadership and other internal and external key stakeholders. In this role, you will guide the efforts that support the design and implementation of programs designed to advance our progress in key demographic areas. You will partner across the business to influence priorities, gain commitment, and align organizational resources needed to deliver results. You will negotiate and collaborate with and influence internal and external teams to define deliverables, monitor and report implementation progress. As the organization continues to focus on building its reputation as an employer of choice, you will lead commitments such as OneTen, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, MN Business Partnership and CEO Action and work to ensure effectiveness of submissions to key recognition efforts including, but not limited to Catalyst, Paradigm for Parity and Diversity Inc.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide advanced knowledge and thought leadership to manage and monitor strategic, large scale, global projects designed to strengthen the company’s internal diversity, equity and inclusion capabilities.
- Consult with multiple stakeholder groups to define and enable cross functional teams on strategic priorities to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion project objectives are incorporated into routine discussions, work and processes.
- Execute diversity, equity and inclusion projects, identify project risks and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Enable integration between strategic partnerships and the organization.
- Collaborate with human resources reporting, insights and analytic teams to monitor progress against goals and project effectiveness.
- Identify and influence opportunities to advance the mission and effectiveness of strategic diversity, equity and inclusion projects.
- Oversee internal operations and budgets for the strategic diversity, equity and inclusion projects.
- Translate a vision into executable actions and understand how to translate internal efforts to showcase success externally.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
MinimumQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Experience working with external partners
- Experience defining metrics and tracking and reporting success
- Experience leveraging project management tools such as Clarizen and MS Project
- Experience creating impactful presentations
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Effectively challenging tradition to move senior leaders to new thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of talent practices and human resource connection points
- Ability to translate data to insights
