Position Summary

The Medical Capabilities organization provides medical support that enable the Healthcare community to advance the science, accelerate access, shape medical practice, and drive appropriate adoption of BMS medicines.

Description: Strategic Collaborations team is looking for a flexible individual who has a strategic mindset and is well versed in understanding and developing analytic-based reporting or dashboards. Experience with metrics, data extraction, restructuring, data manipulation, and analytic techniques to answer a wide range of business questions.  Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to focus on details and think analytically and strategically in a collaborative, collegial, and fast-paced environment.  The incumbent will be detail-oriented, with a positive can-do attitude and results focused to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collects and communicates input from various global cross matrix stakeholders
  • Develops pro-active, cross-market metrics with key stakeholders including the academic research and innovative collaborations team (ACE) & the Global Expert Centers Initiative (GECI), development team, key markets and other key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. congress updates, key TA level/multi-asset level communications)
  • Analyze data and determine the most effective and efficient means to communicate and tell a story across the organization
  • Determine means and tools needed to capture metrics and assess the impact on and value of ACE footprint expansion on the internal & external environment
  • Create vehicle for ongoing monitoring (i.e. Dashboard, Newsletter)
  • Support GECI partnership managers with site engagement meetings, such as: small summits, scientific, joint steering committee and roundtable meetings. Capturing possible areas of collaborations and cross referencing with other sites’ meeting reports. This will play an important strategical role in helping the team find common areas of collaborations across different institutions.  

Qualifications & Experience

  • Junior or Senior in College or Graduate student with an interest in science, pharmaceuticals, writing, technology and/or business
  • Graduate in science or related subject is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required. Experience in working with student and/or academic committees on crictical and complex projects or initiatives
  • Comfortable working with analyzing data, technology and systems, and ability to communicate data effectively
  • Ability to be innovative, articulate ideas and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with broad and diverse teams and across markets
